Catungee joined Cat’s string in the winter of 2017 to fill the role of a speed horse, but he went on to achieve so much more, eventually competing at the 4* Grand Prix level. A lively and energetic presence, he absolutely loved his job and brought joy to everyone around him. Over the years, he earned top placings at the Winter Equestrian Festival, Tryon, the Washington International Horse Show, Lake Placid, the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, and many more. In 2020, he was sold to fellow U.S. rider Teddi Pritzker, and he retired to her farm in Wisconsin in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of excitement and memorable moments in the ring.
