Alex Weinman

Alex Weinman has been surrounded by horses her entire life, growing up at Sagamore Farms where her mother has worked for over 30 years. She started as a working student at 14 years old, assisting horses and riders at top shows in the North East including Lake Placid, HITS, the Hamptons and Silver Oak.

As a groom, Weinman has worked at several top barns caring for FEI horses at competitions all over North America, including her favorite location, Spruce Meadows. She joined Catherine Tyree LLC in the middle of 2020, excited about Tyree’s dedication to a team-oriented operation.

Weinman is always at the ring to cheer on the horses she works with, calling them her “kids,” and each round is as important to her as it is to Tyree. She is looking forward to continued growth and success with the team at Catherine Tyree LLC, especially during the upcoming Major League Show Jumping Tour.
